Professional Headshots are now more critical than ever before. Often, it's the first impression you make!

A headshot photo is more than just a portrait of an individual from the waist up. At BD Studio, our goal is to capture an individual's personality, essence, and personal brand. These sessions typically last between 30 - 45 minutes, and we do this to allow our clients to explore different poses. Our photographer will guide you through each pose and ensure we capture the best angles and lighting that is most flattering. Includes:

30 - 45 minutes in-studio session
30-minute Viewing Session
Two edited high-resolution digital images

The Professional Headshot sessions start at $650 and include two high-resolution digital images. Additional images and group packages are available. A studio tour is required to book a session. Our headshot clients, on average, spend between $1,200 and $1,800

The BD Experience

We love to capture beautiful images and want you to have a fantastic experience with us! The BD experience is how we approach all sessions; it allows us to be intentional and prepared for you!

1. Studio Tour

A studio tour is required to book your session because we want to make sure we understand your goals for these images. It's an opportunity for you to get to know us and answer all your questions. Tell us what you envision for your shoot, and we’ll create the perfect plan!

2. The Shoot

Shoots are always fun! We will have your favorite music playing and refreshments for any jitters. This is an exciting experience, just show up, and we take care of the rest.

3. The Viewing & Ordering Appointment

We use the latest technology to display images, making it easy for you to evaluate each pose and compare images critically. You'll get to review and make your final selections.

4. The Final Delivery

After your viewing appointment and your final selections, we will process and prepare the final versions of your images. About 2-4 weeks later, your art pieces will be ready.

What is a Headshot Session?
Typically, a headshot session is an image of a subject from the chest up. A high-quality headshot image will immediately enhance your audience's impression of you and your services, whether for your social media profile or company website. At BD photography, our team will make sure you feel and look your best for each pose, as well as a selection of backgrounds to choose from. 
How long is a Headshot Session?
On average headshot sessions last about 30-35 minutes, however, we allocate 45minutes to make sure you have ample time and not feel rushed. 
Why do I need to book a studio tour?
A studio tour allows us to get to know each other and helps us better understand your goals for the session. At the same time, it will enable you to become familiarized with the space and get all your questions answered. The planning of the session is vital, and often it takes place during your first visit.
Do you provide hair and makeup?
Yes! We have curated several talented local artists we love to work with, they each work independently, but we'll help you book them and get any special instructions across.
What is the difference between branding and headshots?
Branding sessions encompass a much more involved photoshoot. Typically a headshot session is a portrait of an individual from the chest up. A personal branding session is a much longer session, where you'll be able to capture a wide variety of images to promote your brand, promote your business, create digital content, and much more. The images you choose from your branding session will be a crucial component in your marketing strategy.

Yes! It is precisely our job and why you are coming to us. We will help you step by step and show you a few tricks! Our team will guide you through poses to achieve the most flattering angles; coupled with our lighting techniques, you will look and feel your best.

How many outfits should I bring to my headshot session?
The average session allows for about two or three outfit changes and we may try one or two different color backgrounds.
